1. The service

Cardinate is a personal finance dashboard. We display balances and transactions you import (manually or via Plaid) and help you build a payoff plan. We do not move money, execute trades, or give regulated financial advice.

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication. You must be 18 or older to use Cardinate.

3. Subscriptions

Cardinate offers a 14-day free trial of Pro. Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel from Settings → Billing. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee, email support@cardinate.app within 30 days of a charge and we will refund it.

Cardinate sells Pro directly. Card payments are processed by Stripe, which stores and handles your card details. We never see or store your full card number. Billing questions, cancellations and refunds are handled by us, not by a reseller. Applicable sales tax or VAT is calculated at checkout and shown before you pay.

4. Acceptable use

  • No reverse-engineering, scraping at volume, or attempting to access another user's data.
  • No connecting accounts you do not own or have permission to manage.
  • No unlawful use, fraud, spam, malware, security probing, or IP infringement.

5. Intellectual property

Cardinate, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by us. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within your selected plan.

6. Disclaimer

Cardinate is provided "as is". We make commercially reasonable efforts to keep data accurate and synced, but balances and transactions ultimately come from your bank via Plaid and may lag or contain errors. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance and disclaim all implied warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.

7. Suspension & termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations, with notice when reasonable.
